Netflix has approved a second season of the upcoming The Witcher series.
The news was spread even before the first season has appeared, it will be on the streaming service from December 20. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich confirmed the news on Twitter. The second season is due in 2021.
The series around The Witcher is based on books and games of Polish origin with the same name. The series was announced in 2017 by Netflix. The first season contains eight episodes of one hour each.
